DJ connection test
Use BUTT on your computer to connect to your dedicated DJ input. DJ Management shows the individual DJ stream URLs for PlayIt Live and the shared Cloud Live programme URL. PlayIt Live controls the final broadcast feed. This page is the monitor/gateway; do not place DJ passwords in this website.

Starting and finishing your DJ show
- Get ready early. Connect BUTT, open PlayIt Live Remote Studio and have your first track ready. Stay silent until your handover cue. Being connected does not put you on air; PlayIt Live controls the broadcast.
- Start just before the opening jingle ends. In our Mac test, DJ audio arrived about 2–5 seconds later. Use the studio cue to press Play roughly 2–5 seconds before the jingle finishes. Check your own connection with the studio and adjust this lead time if needed.
- Finish with a smooth fade. In our test, starting the fade about 30 seconds before the next scheduled song or jingle sounded smooth. Agree the handover with the studio and check that the next item overlaps cleanly, without silence. This is a starting point, not a fixed timing for every show.
- Keep the website player muted while presenting. Monitor your local audio or the agreed studio feed. The website player was about 20–30 seconds behind in our test; do not use it to time your start or finish. Start your show on the studio cue, not 30 seconds before its scheduled time.
