Caller delay
Checking the caller audio delay…
Listen to the caller through your immediate phone connection. Dump removes pending caller audio from the separate PlayIt URL input. Your Remote Studio microphone keeps working independently. Mute caller or End caller stops further caller speech. The delayed public player cannot provide a timely warning.
Keeping calls suitable for broadcast
Phone callers choosing games or live-show calls hear the on-air rules and must press 1 to join the queue. They remain off air until you screen them privately, mark them ready and choose Put on air.
Check their name, topic and suitability. Browser guests need the same briefing from you. While a caller is on air, Mute caller now and End caller now act without an extra confirmation.
Use Dump only when the Caller delay panel says it is ready. Mute stops new caller speech; use Dump too to remove speech still waiting in the buffer. End disconnects the caller and clears pending caller audio. There is no automatic speech filter, and audio already released cannot be recalled. The presenter must listen to the immediate phone connection throughout the call.
Browser interviews
For longer interviews, use VDO.Ninja over the internet instead of asking your guest to telephone. Its hosted service is free; normal internet or mobile data charges may apply.
Open free interview studioChoose Create a Room, then copy the guest invitation from the studio. Ask your guest to use headphones and join with audio only. Joining does not put them on air. The interview audio must be connected to your broadcast mix and checked first; this browser studio is separate from the telephone queue.
Incoming calls reach the phone menu. Your staff calling app and studio audio connection must be ready before you can answer or put a caller on air.
Checking your audio connection…
On Android, use your browser menu to add FAR Cloud Live to your home screen for quick access. These alerts need this screen to stay open. Android ringing with the screen locked needs a separately configured calling app and a real phone test.
Phone menu & greetings
Choose what happens when a caller presses a number, and upload your own voice recordings. Only Owner and Deputy Manager can change these settings.
Loading phone settings…
Zero always repeats the welcome message. New options can lead to the games queue, live show queue or private business phones. Private calls cannot go on air. Record a new welcome message whenever you change the choices so callers hear the correct numbers.
Voice recordings
Choose WAV, MP3 or M4A, up to 8 MB and three minutes. Listen to the preview before replacing a recording. Changes are applied only when no call is in progress.
Connecting a caller does not put them on air. Use headphones while screening.
Try the controls here. No phone, guest microphone or live broadcast is connected.
Games & competitions
Phone menu: press 1. Keep game callers separate from interviews.
Live show & interviews
Phone menu: press 2. Interview callers wait here. Browser interview links are not connected.
Private station business
Phone menu: press 3. For Nath or Nick. These calls cannot be put on air.
When one person answers, the other phone should stop ringing. Unanswered calls go to private voicemail.
